If we're being completely honest, neither of us can tell you exactly when we first met. We both grew up on the basketball court, so our paths almost certainly crossed long before we noticed one another, at junior tournaments, national team camps, or perhaps somewhere in the blur of countless weekends spent chasing the same orange ball. We even went to the same high school, though fate seemed content to keep us as passing characters in each other's story for a little while longer. Our real story began in 2015, after Karl had already graduated Märsky. Like any good adventure, it wasn't without its plot twists. During our first two years together, Karl completed his military service, and we also spent a year navigating long distance between Helsinki and Lappeenranta. We were young, learning who we were, and in 2017 our story paused. But as it turns out, some stories aren't meant to end, they're simply waiting for their next chapter. In 2020, life brought us back together. We like to think of our relationship as a TV series with different seasons. Season One introduced the characters, laid the foundation, and left us all wondering what would happen next. Then came a break between seasons... before Season Two premiered. And just like the very best shows, the second season is even better than the first. Since then, we've built a life filled with laughter, adventures, quiet everyday moments, and countless reasons to choose each other again and again. Now, we're beyond excited for the next episode, one where we get to celebrate with all of you as we begin our greatest season yet.
